As one customer, Dr. Y, noted, the incredibly friendly staff create a welcoming vibe that complements the serene outdoor seating, perfect for those leisurely Sunday mornings. The café might get busy, which can be a touch overwhelming for first-time visitors, but it’s precisely this buzz that adds to its charm.

While sipping your coffee, don’t forget to keep an eye out for their delectable pastries, such as the croissant that one visitor described as “reigning from heaven's own bakery.” For those looking for something a bit heartier, their breakfast sandwiches offer straightforward yet tasty options that are made to order. Meralina M. highlighted the possibility of crafting your own breakfast sandwich, although it's worth noting that some menu items may come in half portions, a detail to keep in mind during your visit.

The café’s dedication to sustainability is evident in their unique free mug library, where patrons can borrow reusable drinkware, even contributing their own. This feature certainly reflects the café's commitment to reducing waste and fostering a community spirit that is all too rare in today’s fast-paced world.

With a cozy ambiance and a wide array of beverages that cater to all tastes—including a matcha latte perfect for chilly mornings—Cloud City Coffee is a must-visit spot in Seattle. Incredibly friendly staff. Outdoor seating was a calming experience for Sunday morning. Obviously it was busy at that time. Just a touch overwhelming for a first time visitor but overall a very nice place. Saw someone else order a croissant that seemed to reign from heavens own bakery. Would like to order that next time. I got an iced latte. Exactly as expected. Got a fun free sticker too.

Absolutely love this place! Delicious coffees, sandwhiches and sweet treats and it is conveniently located near Maple Leaf Reservoir. The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that the service can be pretty slow/long wait times. Other than that, it would be 5 stars in my book. Cute ambiance though can get very crowded inside since it is small.

We came to Cloud City as a party of 2 on a Sunday morning. This was my first time, but I have admired their amazing sign for years! It was crowded but the service was fast. I was admiring all their merch while in line. We ordered an espresso and a maple drink. Perfect for a chilly morning. One thing about Cloud City I really like is that they have a free mug library. You can borrow reusable drink ware and even donate some of your own. The world needs to know this! Our visit was short and sweet! Check them out!

Got a matcha latte w espresso today. Very solid! It's the first cafe I've tried in Seattle, and I'm off to a good start. The vibes are pretty good in here. Will try chaga latte next time!

Great staff and atmosphere. The coffee is incredible and you should try the coconut bread. I need to learn how to make this bread. The atmosphere is really nice and the breakfast sandwiches are made to order. You will not be disappointed.

I placed an order online so I cant speak much to the customer service informatively. There is ample street parking. I got a make your own breakfast sandwich and the seasonal iced cranberry matcha. The matcha was the perfect balance of tea and sweetness for me. They have a variety of sandwiches you chose from our "make you own" I chose to do a bacon egg and cheese on sourdough. The bacon is a really great thick bacon, the Mayo is nice and flavorful and overall it was a great sandwich, however, it was a bit surprising that it was actually only half a sandwich and not a full sandwich which I didn't see indicates in the menu at all. So that was a bit disappointing but it was delicious nonetheless. I got my sandwich on sourdough and a PNW pet peeve of mine is that places call bread sourdough but it's more of an Italian style bread, not shake on this business as it is just what occurs here, but I am always on the look out for a breakfast Sammy with real sourdough, so I think it's important to let other sourdough snobs know as well. I'd definitely come back for the sandwich and the matcha!
